i want to see some unique intakes...

everyone has AEM or injen...
who has a UNIQUE CAI?
maybe a homemade one
maybe a crazy idea... you did a double layer tubing and you can fill water in the middle so that the heat is dispersed???

i'd like to see something new... i.e. creative

lets go!

Your idea with a double tube and water in the middle sounds interesting but theres a problem i am seeing. First off I dont know much about intakes or engine but this is what i think. If you have the water in the middle to cool the air down...if your pipe cracks and theres a lot of water heading for your engine. Just my idea...there are some homemade ones ie. scarbelt.

How about this one:

Design a CAI like Comptech Ice box and Scalbert Design and Weapen-R....

Now, to get yourself a kind of metal net, fill it with dry ICE packs.. drop those in the ICE box around the Filter cone and u get a real "DRY ICE" CAI...

i custom a short ram high velocity intake before using the CAI. It had a tubing of 5" before entering the throttle... and 3" overall.
its looks exaclty like all short ram "L" shape only like i said the part parallel to the throttle is fat

In addition if the inside of CAI is really cold... The diff in temp would make a drop in presure resulting in more in-flow... a huracaine effect....

a quote..."How Liquid Nitrogen Could Be Used Tomorrow...
Science is always forging ahead. Here's one possibility for the future - the kind of car that is totally environmentally friendly!

Fill It Up Please — with Liquid Nitrogen!
Liquid nitrogen could be used to fuel automobiles. When warmed up, the liquid nitrogen quickly changes from its liquid form to a gas, creating a rapid flow of gas that propels an air motor and moves the car forward. "

That's scalbert's one off..... You can get the weapon-r cold air box. It's the same thing except the box is brushed aluminum....and you can swap it out for another filter if you want.

Only works on 4 bangers which don't have enough sucking power.
