I turned my sub box around...

to face towards the front and not the back, it looks sweet but it sounds like crap, im almost done with the install but the subs dont thump any more they basically sound like crap, anything i can do to make them sound like they do when they are facing towards the rear?

ya, turn them back around. They sound much better when they can fire against something solid - like the trunk back.

I'm sure you're posting in the wrong place. But yeh, you need a to keep the front of the sub at least 6 to 8 inches away from a solid surface. Face them upwards and see how it sounds.

i did it to mine once, with a slot port, it sounded awesome, no rattles here
