i was driving around yesterday and i saw this parked black 2002 accord coupe with awesome headlights, OEM body kit, nice rims, lowered, so i pulled over to take a look...first thing i noticed was a HUGE intercooler showing through the grill in the front...then i also noticed boost gauges and shit inside the car...now correct me if im wrong, but the accord has our motor, the 3.2, right?? if so, that must mean that there is a TURBO application for our car out there!! right???

no..accord has J30A engine..which produce 200 HP (tls or cls have J32A2 engines) and it only has 4 speed auto tranny...turbo kit for accord...not a news already... it even has supercharger for accord... but a nice car lol
i don't think there is a turbo kit for cls or tls yet.but supercharger is under development now...will cost u under $5000....

yaeh, i know about our supercharger...if the danm thing ever comes out, but i mean sure, there are differences with the 02 accord 3.2 and our 3.2 but OVERALL its very similar, so wouldnt a turbo kit for an accord 3.2 work on a CL 3.2??

BTW.... what Accord did u see? the 4 banger or the 6 cylinder? Could it have been the J22 and not the J30?

it was definately the 3.2...it had the V6 badge on the back and the factory dual exhaust

3.0***...people have fabricated turbos for their v6 accords before...no reputable company will actually produce the product though becuase all theyve seemed to lead to is blown trannies and engine failure. I heard a rumor that Rick Case R&D had a twin turbo at one point...back when they were tinkering with all that 3.5 liter stuff

hi dude..it is 3.0 liter...Honda V6 engines does mean it is 3.2 liter...3.5RL is also V6 engine but it is 3.5 Liter ... u shoud do some research on this good luck

sorry, i always thought the accord v6 was a 200 hp version of our 3.2...i guess not, or is it the new one, yaeh the 03 is gonna have the 3.2 right?

It is. A 200 hp, 3.0L version of the 3.2L - Same block, just different bore & stroke, & timing not optimized for premium unleaded, crappy-azz low vtec cam, among other things...

Maybe it is a 2.2 with a 3.0 exhaust...or maybe the turbo is all for show....the intercooler and gauges....I'm leaning towards the former cuz the piping would benefit a turbo app somewhat. Was an auto or a stick....if its a stick...well its a 4 banger.

it was auto and seriously, i doubt if it was a fake setup, this car was VERY modified, and it wasnt like tacky mods either, no altezzas or gay shit like thiat, just nice nice stuff....racing seats, 5 point seat belts, 3 gauge cluster on the pillar by the windshield, all sorts of techy looking gizmos inside, like i said, the body kit, a very reasonable spoiler, not tacky at all, slick rims, not bling bling rims, like nice lightwieght race rims, khumo tires...very wide looknig...probably 235/35/18 or something it had some headlights ive never seen before, they kind of looked like the smoked headlights on the 03 CL...very tasteful...and like i said, there was a huge intercooler down below in front of the radiator...i remember where it was parked, if i woulda had my digicam i would have taken pics, i mean, there are alot of faggy rice boys aroud here but this car was obviously not a joke...it was probably one of the best looking, truely modified cars ive seen aroud here ever....i wish i had more info cause hell, if he can put a turbo on that motor, theres got to be a way for ours....

What kind of person would do all the mod work of putting on a
turbo onto the manifold, piping for an intercooler and then run
stock exhaust? Exhaust is one of the easiest ways to get more
boost from a turbo. And for the boost that you can safely run on
an Accord tranny, the innercooler is a complete waste.
