I new the service advisor was smokin something...

When i got my oil changed I asked about replacing the brake pads ONLY front/back...they quoted me $350. I posted that on here and of course people thought the same way I did, and that was that the price was ridiculous. I called again thinking maybe this guy has no clue as to what I was talking about eventhough he repeated it to me "Its $350 for the front and rear brake pads ONLY..with labor..."

Anyways when I called in the lovly lady that works there told me $150 for both front/rear and labor. Thats what I thought..shooooooot.... and if I needed to get the rotors resurfaced, the total cost with the resurfacing and pad replacement was only $260...STILL $100 cheaper than that other mofo's quote...some people man..some people....

anyways...thought I would vent out this.

I didnt do it that day since I brough cash with me and some extra for the pads...but since he quoted me that ridiculous price, I was going to do it later (of course after calling in again to double check)

I wish it was something as simple as that....I put in an orange ball, and got an orange ball back.....in other words...I asked for brake pad replacement only and he responded back with , "brakes pads for the front and rear only...$350" Homeboy just didnt know his sheeeeeet and probably punched in the wrong numbers... oh well.... luckily he isnt the one i normally talk to....I usually get help from the two MILFs that work there...hehehe

you can go to tirerack.com and get NEW rotors and pads for $180. You have have them installed anywhere for $80.

You can also do it for free your self, It took me under 20 min a side.

imho its a no brainer, i would rather have new rotors for the same price, than have acura turn them, only to have them turned in 10-15k again.

Craig.

i feel u man. I just got my car out of the dealership 2 days ago, and i had them replace one of the headlights, cuz it was fogging and peeling off. Then at night, i noticed that the new headlight doesnt light up! so i went there the next morning (yesterday), and it took the advisor 2 secs to fix it. Last night, i noticed that the new high beam for the new headlight doesnt work .

DO NOT go to Brian at Concord Acura.

P.S I also asked them not to wash my car, but guess what..... mofos did wash it w/ 500 yr old towels
