I need new brakes for my 03CLS

Acura 101 West said it would be over 400$. Um, yea... I'd rather pay less.

Anyone know anything?

I'm car dumb.

EDIT: I'm in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley), just in case you didn't notice.

I have a set of OEM front and rear rotors with 10K on them. I replaced them with Rotora BBK and slotted

Actually, I don't need rotors, the front rotors would be resurfaced per Howard at 101 West saying they do that so that there's no shimmy or something when I brake?

If you having shimmying during braking, you have warped rotors. No resurfacing can fix that. A warped rotor is an unfixable physical defect.

It's not under warranty, it should be??? Well, they sure do seem content trying to charge me 400$ for it all - I just spoke to someone and he said that rotors should always be resurfaced after getting new brakes... - GREAT, conflicting information - lol.

my rotors are f*cked too. i'm just putting OEM ones for now, and plan to upgrade later to some rotora's or something.

if your rotors are thick enough, machine them and buy new pads. that shouldn't cost more than $100.

How many miles are on your CL? I got my brakes changed at 42K. I had my mechanic do them and it cost about $200 for all for and one rotor. I may have looked at a pot hole the wrong way and one cracked.
$400 is crazy. If you don't have a lot of miles on the car, they may do them under a warrenty.
