I need help, what do I say to the dealer?

I have problems with the car...it jerks around 30-45 miles/hour.

I have had this problem for a LONG TIME...I am ASSUIMING its tranny related..cause it just feels like it..

I had these problems WAY before I got the intake...CAN THEY TELL ME I VOIDED MY WARRANTY CAUSE OF THE INTAKE???

Does anybody seriuosly advice me to put the STOCK shit back in and tell them i have problems?

PLEASE SERIUOS ANSWERS, I DO NOT WANT TO TAKE OUT THE INTAKE AND GO THROUGH ALL THAT SHIT FOR NOTHING..

I heard a lot on this baord that they have to PROVE to me that the mod caused the problem, is this true, or a MYth?

Thanks.

By the way, this is the last Acura I will ever purchase.

this is more or less true for the u.s. but you're in canada, so your mileage (er, kilometerage?) may vary...

Just take it to the dealer and have them check it out.......I don,t think that they'll question the intake. Besides, unless you drive through a ton of water, the intake can mess up your car.

Obviously, I think you need to spend about 22hr+ to deal with this problem. First, spend 11hr to remove the CAI and put the stock air box in. Drive it to the dealer and have them check the car out.
Drive home, spend 11hr to remove the stock airbox and put the CAI back in.
ps. Make sure you have the "clicking turning thing" handy this time. Oh, and right sockets too.

Now the serious part, I think your car is normal. Mine does that too. If I'm doing 40mph (whatever the kmph is) and decide to floor it. At 40mph, the auto is runing on 5th gear. As I floor it, it will have to hunt the 2nd gear, thus the jerking. However, if you are just cruising at 35-45mph and all of the sudden, it jerks then go spend your 22hr (j/k no need take out the CAI but you have to go see the dealer).

Is the jerking occuring during a downshift or is the tranmission shifting at all when it jerks?

Before my tranny went bad, it used to jerk during 5-4-3 downshifts at freeway speeds.

whats that???

your help on what to say to my service manager would be greatly appreciated.

their "computer" says everything is ok. Also, I just realized tonight that if i stay in second with the SS its more obviuos.

If they dont do anything about the tranny, i am going to need help to FUCK MY TRANNY UP SO IT BREAKS DOWN...maybe then i'l get a new tranny.

Driving with people with the shaking is just EMBARRASING.

Its usually not downshifting. Just normal driving up to 60km/h at the pace that you would when there is a cop car behind you and the light goes green.
