i was in my dads 2003 Z06....

for prom last night. we were heading to the dance when this BMW Z3 non convertible pulls up besides me and slowly accelerates past me.....i dont think anything of it until the dude turns on his hazards as if he won a RACE! i didnt accelerate at all. so we both come to a stop light. the light turns green, he floors it and takes off. i let him get about 5 cars in front of me before i give it some good gas. its amazing. i scream pass this punk like nothing. as soon as i stepped on the gas i was gone. and i think i scared the guy with the sound of my loud ass exhaust. my girlfriend thought it was pretty cool too.

Hahaha, yes you're so cool...

The only way you beat that Z3 would have been because he couldn't drive and didn't know his car. Errrrrrr... I mean, did you race any Mustangs??

easy easy kill...I think I beat a Z3 on my 10-speed , but nice kill regardless....but forgive me if I'm wrong, BMW doesn't make a "non-convertible Z3..." They are all convertibles. They make an M-coupe, which looks like a Z3 hatchback, and those lil boogers are quick. Maybe that is what you raced?

It was sarcastic because the Z3 is soooo much slower than a Z06, there is no way that Z3 would have even come close even if the Z06 would have missed shifts through 3rd gear!

That's like somebody racing a three year old on a tri-cyle (z3) with a f-16 (z06)...

no, thats how ricers will sometimes signal a "win". the usually takes place after a ricer fly-by.

I think the Z3 or M3coupe started it, so all is fair.

All you have to do is buy a hard top for the convertible. my mom has the M roadster convertible, but looks like coupe with hard top on.

There was also a 2.8 z coupe, not just the 3.0 or the mcoupe, though the m is quite bad-ass

Bah, only thing worse than a lil punk trying to race people in the car mommy and daddy bought it some spoiled brat racing people in daddy's Vette to show off to a girl and feeling good about himself.

Get some self-respect. Work at least a LITTLE BIT for what you own. Geez.

Even when I had my crappy and average cars ::: 83 Cavalier(first car) 87 CRX(second car) 93 nissan sentra(third car) I knew that even if someone was faster than me at my age most likely they didn't buy it. Now im 22 and I am makeing payments on my 03 CLS(first NEW car). IMHO buying your own cars is the best thing for kids because it taught me alot of respect for the car. I went to school with so many rich kids that would trash the 30K cars that mommy or daddy bought them, and that just isn't right.

not to be mean or anything but i bet that i keep my car cleaner and take better care of it than most of the people on this board. im sure alot of young kids do not take car of their car very well but working in an automotive shop has really made me aware of my cars needs, not to mention its a beautiful car for any age. and responding to the person that called me a brat for racing that bmw...its not like i was looking to race....HEEEES the one that strolled past me and put on his hazards...i simply put his foot in his mouth!

Hey now, some of us youngsters really do appreciate our cars. My father had it almost halfway paid off when i picked up the tab. I treat it like it is made of solid fucking gold. I spend more time caring for it than most people spend working to pay for their cars.

I know i'm unbelievably lucky. Not one day goes by where i don't go "god damn, i'm one lucky bastard to be able to have this car."

Don't just assume that all of the highschool kids on this board are spoiled rich kids.
