I just realized something...

I think I hold the record for the most posts on this board for someone that has never even driven one, even as a passenger. I think I deserve the "obsessed" award. How does that sound?

So nootch, when do you see getting a CL-S? Me, sometime in summertime. Most likely late summer.

I ask because I'm afraid to get screwed by the only dealership out here in NM. I'm already thinking about going to Colorado or Texas to find a deal.

G$,

Just make it very clear to your dealer that you will not hesitate to go out of state and they should make it worth your while to buy from them. Must be kinda tough being in ABQ as you're proabably about 7 hours away from any city over 2 million if my memory serves me correct. There's always Phoenix too! They have 2 Acura dealerships and its a pretty good size car market so the deals are pretty good.

Good Luck!!

Thanks GoldTypeS! I appreciate your feedback! I can be a real tough ass when it comes to dealing, so you can bet I'll make them work with me. Even though, I still want to have a solid game plan if things don't work locally. Who knows, I could end up in AZ looking for a Type S?

Summertime as well. Goldtypes had a good suggestion. If you play hardball and let them know up front that you will go out of state, they should deal. Also try the online car buying services. They usually have good deals.

Well I'm 23 but I have just left one job and will be starting another in a month or so, otherwise I'd just go get it. Plus I kinda wanted to wait till summer cause I'm going to hawaii in the next couple of months. I have a free place to stay, but the plane ticket alone is $700.

I just went in September. My good friend lives there and just got married. It was the best trip I've been on. Word of advise... The food sucks. I would stay away from the bus tours. They are very boring.
