I just did the state inspection, car was lifted and I saw...
I just did the state inspection, car was lifted and I saw......A lot of rusty exhaust pipes (Y-pipe and stock headers ) mufflers painting peeling and damn it the clear space around the headers is very tight... I do not know how the Prototype racing headers would fit... 
Car was lifted to check for lose underbody parts... all are good.. the tech was impressed with the Tires/Rims and the Comptech sway bars.... He added "yeah, you should be loving the SportShifter..." I mentioned that Comptech Headers would add 30HP more... he was like

Is a 'state inspection' some kind of a New England thing and what's the point of it??? The only thing I have to do is get my emissions checked every two years.

Interesting...
I'm surprised they make you pay for something like this. The least they could do is eat the cost considering they screw you 100 different ways...

NY cost 35. They even put ur car on a Dyno and and speed the car up to 55 MPH to ck for emissions. pluss the normal ck's. brake light, brakes .....
