I just bought some OBX headers for 99-02 accord..

According to megan , dc , the headers r the same for cl/tl and accord, so a friend of mine sold me headers from is accord V6 and while doing some research found out that the tl/cl obx headers and accord obx headers are diff part #'s.. Before i pay someone $150 to install them do u guys know if it will fit a 2001 CL-s?

Thanks guys!

Just called OBX and they confirmed it is the same exact header..
They just give them all diff part #'s for shipping purposes!

Cant wait to install these and Finally tap the full potential of this car!

Did u guys that do headers also switch out the O2 sensor or just put the old one in the new headers? I never replaced it in 9 years!

just put the old one on. No need to change it if it still works. You'll throw a code if the O2 sensor is bad.

Nice. One thing that caught my eye is that the rear header doesnt have the kink for the 6 speed mount. That wont affect you, but I just thought that was odd.

I though none of the OBX headers where made to fit 6speed.
Do they look bad to u guys cuz i ordered them, I don't wanna put crummy headers on my OBX (I know there pretty cheap made headers) but at least there not $98 ebay headers with the 2 flex pipes!

Those look pretty good. They look similar to the XS ones. Is that pic the actual set your getting? Are they new?
For piece of mind I would not use the gaskets or bolts that are included. Stick with oem gaskets and upgrade the bolts. Also wrap the flex pipe with header wrap to keep it quiet. Be careful when handling the 02 sensor.
But I'm sure you knew all that already because you've been commenting on every header thread for the last six months.
I'm happy to see you finally get a set of headers.
Hope they are worth all the effort.

Yes and thank you guys for all your help...
I know I am a pain in the A$$ and this has been ongoing for months.
Its just that with my job in sales im making no money now , I just bought a ring for my girl of 10 years and we just bough our first townhouse , so money is tight.. I am actully buying these with a CSI bonus check im getting for keeping customers happy, Thank goodness my girl does not know anything about it , or that would go into drapes or summtin for the new home!
Everytime i was gonna get some headers i read a post of them cracking or resonating but u cant keep everyone happy.. And other times i was ready to pull the trigger my coil went bad or my shock fell through my damping fork.

Like I said I'm sorry for all the header BS and sorry for being a PITA, but this has to be the BEST forum hands down...And i go on alot of forums cuz I work in the buesness so I gotta stay up on my autmotive knowledge!

Goddamit I confused the companies. XS is the company I was thinking of, not OBX. Disregard my post.
