I have a question about a ground wire and the transmission...

In the picture there is a ground wire connected to part #1 by screw #30 and that is connected to the part# 28250-P6H-024 SOLENOID ASSY., LINEAR .
Well after my car threw code P0740 Torque converter soleniod circuit I looked under the hood and the wire that was held by screw #30 to part#1 was dissconnected. So I cleared the codes and reconnected this ground wire.

Would this wire not being grounded cause code P0740 to pop up?

After I grounded the wire and cleared the code I drove to lunch maybee 4-5 miles and the code did not pop up again..
How long after clearing the code would it take for the code to pop up again if it ever does?

Thanks again!!

Its entirely possible that was your issue. If you take care of this tranny the way you do and I do(most of the time) I think it will hold up good. Sometimes my tranny shutters when it shifts betwen 1>2 at exactly 2000 rpm, why idk but so far mine is holding up good with about 40-50 thousand on it.

Dude get rid of it!
I thought if I changed the fluid every 20K and drove like miss daisey the tranny would go 100K boy was I wrong.. None of my 3 trannies lasted over 68K this one lasting the longest but i did everything before it needed to be done with this tranny!
The car shifted fine and drove perfect then outta the blue bang there goes the trans!
