Have them pluged??? I have Z rated tires and I kinda remember hearing that you are not supposed to have Z rated tires pluged because they are not "safe" anymore.

If it's not in the sidewall, you should be good.

It should be fine if you get it plugged. Although, if it is in the sidewall your looking at a new tire.

I've had the same thing happen in my BMW's....dealer plugged the tire @ my request...but didnt want to...said that the tire loses its official speed rating, and, at high speeds, can be dangerous, but at whatever the unholy price I have to pay for Dunlop 8080E's, I just said what the hell, never had a problem with it till it decided to lose all its tread...hmmm...driver? <g>

Damn thanks for all the quick replys!! Yeah its not on the side wall...its right down the middle on a thick part of the tread. I have only heard that it looses its speed rating and its not safe to go real fast....but I usualy dont go over 95 or so.

Thanks everyone

Have not even looked at installing it yet I am getting married and buying a house and stuff to go in the house so I am really to busy right now. I will tho as soon as I can. I am also kinda waiting for the closing of the house (in a little over a week!!!) to come and go so I can see what the funds look like
