I have got to find a mod friendly dealer!

I am so sick of these all mighty stuck up dealers by me in South FL who don't know anything, & are afraid to work on any car with mods.

I take the car in last night for the warped rotors. I'm told they won't cover it cause I have modified the suspension, & don't have stock tires. Claimed the wheels may not have been torqued & that caused the warping even though many many CL's & other Acura's have this problem, & my 02 had it, & there's a TSB on it. Service manager didn't care. Refused to cover it. We went back & forth for a 1/2 hour on it. He finallly gave in & gave me a "one time fix"

All the dealers by me are this way. This is a different dealer I took the car too then the one that is waiting for the reginal rep to see my bumper for the peeling paint.

So far the un mod friendly dealers are:

Rick case Acura(Used to be great for mods untill doug was canned & then they stopped all performance mods)
Ed Morse Acura
Palm beach Acura

There's one other in miami I haven't tried cause they are to far.
I understand the warranty on the parts I replace, or upgrade are void, & can live with that. No problem. Just when they try to say the mod is causing the problem that has nothing to do with it that what gives me grief. It's wrong, illegal, & a pain in the ass to fight for. When so many other dealers out there have no problem with mods. Done with the rant

Quote them the Morrison (or whatever it is about warranty work), and have them give you in writing how your mod is voiding the warranty. Then call Acura care. I would think that should get some results. Of course having to go through such a thing is not right!

Acura of palm Beach.? Thats funny because i went there to ask about mods and he was freindly. It seemed to me that they were fine with dealing with mods. Dont they have a mod department?

Good to know that, although I figured they where when there are headers and springs in a display box in the service area.

If you're talking about Esserman Acura in Miami...dont even bother. They're the same way.
