i mean sure even expensive cars blow...changed the fuel sender on my 99 sl500 once every year...this is the first year i haven't had to chage it - suppose third time is a charm.
but in all fairness the cl does suck - my wife's 90 maxima with 200K miles has only had brakes and tires replaced...original clutch, exhaust, everything

MIne was pretty much like the 4 door pictured above...but a lighter green. it was a really gross color.
I simply can't believe that there is a following for these cars. It was a good first-car but really...

They probably hit ya up for 2.5 hours of labor on each bearing, plus 140 bux in parts on the wheel bearings. I know thats what my stealership I work at charges. I've done wheel bearings on cars with 15K miles. Do you get this whirring sound at any speed ? What kinda tires do you have ? Ask the dealer what kinda code you have for the SRS, its probably a seat belt buckle- which is covered under the lifetime seatbelt warranty. As for the front rotors, get some Brembo blanks off Ebay for cheap, they are better than stock rotors, gets some good Axxis metal masters or Hawk HPS pads and install them at the same time. It will cost ya all less than one crappy rotor from Acura. I had a beatter 90 Maxima 5spd for a winter car 2 years ago that I bought from a guy whos had it all its life, I beat the shit out of it daily, the struts where original ones- which where blown, it needed new ball joints, and belts... One day finally at 250K miles the clutch went and blew the tranny apart. Got me a new tranny and clutch and then sold the car at 302K miles. My friend has been driving it till today and the car has 360K miles, it don't look too pretty with the paint all faded. But it gets good gas mileage and will do 130MPH all day long. Engine was original, I put on a performance exhaust from the exhaust manifolds back since the old stuff was all falln apart at 280K miles. Here is a pic.

Did you buy it brand new from that same dealer?

My first car was a 74 Maverick back in 1984 or so.
4-Door with the 250CI straight six & 3-Speed Auto.
It was blue, similar to the one directly above, but it had the black vinyl roof.

Every few weeks when stopping hard the oil would shift in the pan and cause the low oil light to come on.
Then I added another quart and was good for another 200-300 miles.
When the roof cover rotted away I had it sanded off and painted black.
