hey everyone, update on my recent tix, i got to go to court on the 11th. so when i get pulled over, i got a few questions for you ppl.
1. when the cops are questioning me, are they supposed to cuss? cuz they did
2.are they supposed to ask these questions cuz i speed? "who the fuck at your school is selling stolen car parts? who's selling these fucking drugs? who have been stealing all these fucking cars?" word for word
3.can i like throw any of these things back at them to get them in trouble?

 

To tell you the truth, a Cop is still a person. If he uses vulgar languae, the way I see it... he's actually doing no wrong in cussing at you. I don't know, but is there a code or regulation that states a cop must be couteous when he pulls you over? Probably not. In a court, I doubt any of these things if you threw it at him would make a difference. If you're asking if what he said to you could null and void the ticket, I doubt it. Him verbally abusing you doens't put aside the fact you were dragging on streets. It's not as if he pulled you over cause he was cussing at you, he cussed at you cause he had to pull you over. Whether or not his verbal abuse is anything more than intimidation is questinable at best. If you're asking whether those comments and the way he conducted himself are unbecoming of an officer, they are. But if I remeber right, you were doing 80 in a 25 zone right? Being that you're a minor, I beleive you are lucky that are extremely lucky you haven't had your license revoked or worse, thrown in jail. Given what happened nearby recently at the time of your deeds, I can understand how pissed cops may have been. This may be harsh, but you need to accept responsibilty for what you are doin/done and realize that mommy and dad won't always be there to bail you out or make everything okay. Take it easy and I hope everything comes out on up and up for you. See you on the flipside.

 

Chances are it's going to be your word against their's. Try not to argue against a cop in court if possible...unless you have concrete evidence. Sorry to hear about them hassling you though...

 

Where's your priorities, the judge might think. With you the judge could reason, "you mean to tell me that vulgar language upsets you but 80mph in a 25 is OK!"

I wouldn't, at the least it'll sound like sour grapes at the most the judge simply won't evaluate 80mph in a 25 as serious as an officer cursing you.

Tell it like it went down, and keep your mouth shut as much as possible if what you have to say "might" somehow hurt your case. Get this behind you and take it on the track.
