I got yanked about 1/4 of a mile from my house at 10am this morning.....He was nice enough....I didn't want to kill him. There were 6 people pulled over at the same time (me being one of them) on a 1/4 mile stretch......and its not the end of the month.

 

so stop being an idiot and put one on. Or atleast don't sit and complain about it anymore

 

I didnt know they can pull you over just for no front plate... what kind of communist town does that?

 

i had a couple of those tickets when i had my trans am. put the plate back on and save money and aggravation

its all on the way your car looks. i have never been pulled over because my car looks practically stock. ive been pulled over only once and the two cops didnt even mention the front plate.
now, my two friends with hooked up mustangs get pulled over all the time for the dumbest things.

yup... i never rode w a front plate in jersey and all the times i've gotten pulled over, never got a ticket for it. i've only been in two spot checks and before they started writing the ticket, i pulled it out of my trunk and mounted it.

i'm in PA now... no front plate required AND front side window tint is allowed :P

I got a ticket for no front plate....$80! I had to spend 3 hours waiting around in the court house only to have it knocked down to $40. I don't need the hassle so I put it back on.

 

I'm sorry but I just don't understand what the issue is with taking off or not putting the front plate on. If your state requires it why not do it?

<just not seeing the logic in paying repeated tickets and the associated hassle when you can put the thing on--once--and end it all>

 

I put mine on this weekend .......yeah it sucks to have it on ...looks ugly...
I CANT afford to give them one more stupid reason to pull me over for that shi.t ...on one of them "FUN" Friday or Saturday nights...then you will really wish you had it on...dont give them stupid reason like that...for now its $20 next time it could be a DUI! you never know!!!

I have been driving without a front plate for years and only got pulled over twice, but both those times were for my tints(within the first week of getting them). They mentioned having no front plate but said he wasnt going to give me a ticket for something so stupid. Since i removed my front tints i havent been pulled over once.

 

I've never seen this cop before.....rookies
