I finally cleared my headlights

It was not a fun experience. I was stressin through the whole thing. It turned out really nice though. Some silicon did manage to get on the chrome, but I used adhesive remover to get it off. The worst part was getting the old silicon off the light...that stuff is miserable. The whole thing took about 4 hours. Funny thing is, I only had to use a hair dryer to get it initially apart, from there the 115 degree AZ heat allowed me to pull it apart without the heat gun at all. Now all I need is new bulbs.

Wow 4 hours
Im impressed
Clearing my lights took me a whole freaking day!!!!! HOLY
and had to wait for it to dry, test for leaks, .....arrrrg! wut a pain in the ass!

BUt i am so pleased with the results! I mean the car looks way more aggresive without those 2 reflectors! ANd I am so glad there are no leaks! BUt then i accidently scratched the chrome inside the light
arrrrrg

Once you get to the point of taking those reflectors out, dont you just want to fucking break it apart and burn it??????????

that's good shit... clear is the way to go! the orange reflectors just aren't cuttin it. 4 hours is impressive though, my shit took 8 hours and it still fogged up! so i had to fix it again which brings a grand total of 10 hours.

Does "clearing the lights" mean you are removing the orange and putting in an orange bulb, or does it have something to do with condensation?

clearing your lights mean you heat up the seam, pull them apart, remove that orangish reflector and reassemble.

When I first started pulling mine apart and saw that nasty adhesive just dripping onto the chrome housing I though my life was about to end. Fortunately, I was at my friend's shop and he has about every tool imaginable, so I applied a little adhesive remover and it all came off perfectly. I think if I were to do it again it would probably only take about 2-3 hours. Mine came out flawless. I am pretty happy.
