i drove 6 new Mercedes this
weekend at mercedes power trip. this is where they set up a comparo drive with all their models and some of their competitors.
this is what i drove
slk 320 6 speed
new c coupe
c 320
ml 430
3 430
cl 500(sweet)
also:
is 300(not too bad)
325 i
a4 2.8
rode with race drivers in clk430, clk55 and e 55, what a blast
also won a set of any 4 continental tires in a free raffle. ate good food and had a great day.

What was your impression of the "new c coupe"? I take it you mean the little hatchback that's coming out? I'm thinking I'd rather lose a bit of luxury, take a Civic Si and save $5-7k.

hey! I was there too! I saw you come up. I had a great day, I drove the CL500! That's an awesome car. And also rode w/the race car drivers in the clk55 and e55. Those cars can handle!!!!!!!!!!!!

my friend signed me up on m/b's web site. i am at a loss for the address and where the tour is headed. this coming weekend on li cadillac is having a similar event at belmont racetrack. i will try to find out how to sign up for it and post the address. actually it is listed in motor trend mag.

the only amg's were the 55's clk,e and ml
the new c coupe was really nice and i would consider it for my next daily driver after the cl is paid off.i happen to prefer cloth seats and that's the way they showed up.
next week in ny is the caddy event,sorry i do not have a link
