I Can Fix The Sunroof!!!

Hears the problem, the damm rubber seal is dry.
Ok here, open ur driverside door. Step on the door seal just to prop urself up. Now press on the sunnroof. Hear that that the rubber seal thats dried out.

Cure:
Tilt the sunroof up an lube the rear end on the sunroof. Hell lube the jams too (anything that the rubber seal rubb against)
Now slide the moon roof back and proceede to lube the front on the seal, doing the jams too.Try to lube everything that u can.

NO ArmorALL, NO Petroleum solvents either those tend to make it worse in time, the seal will later crack and when it rains don't come crying to me. =)

Hope it works. If not EM me and I'll give u another step that has to do with the rails and the gromet that hold the Sunroof to the sliding assembly.

** To all u cats that have posted helpfull shit to burn those FR 4.6 Donkeys (Mustangs. Here is my 2 cents; anyway thanks u guys**

my Zymol Protectant helps out ALOT with the rubber seal...it's like the all around protectant for rubber, plastic, leather, and vinyl...can't recommend it enough to everyone

My dealer did that last time... it works like a charm. The only thing you have to keep doing is reminding yourself to keep your hands off the sunroof when open unless you want a good grease job!

I have heard of the same sunroof creaking problems on the TL's. The dealer's fix is to use some self-adhesive Teflon tape pasted to the jambs.
