My grandma got a garage door opener. I can now use the 1 feature I never used owning 3 different CL's, & 2 other cars that had it.
It's a cool feature. Can't park in the garage since it's converted, but I'll take what I can get.

 

Congratulations! I used it in my new house, then got a new garage door opener, then it wouldn't work with it. lol

2 of 3 used on mine...one for my own garage; the second for my Mom's...

 

The first one is to open the front wrought iron gate, the second one to open the garage, the third one is to let the butler know it's time to run his bath water, fix him a drink, and lay out LH's pajamas and smoking jacket

Mine just opens the garage...

What other things can you program? Can I code it to my Viper alarm system on my Explorer to open that so I don't have to get the keys?

 

i cant use mines because i been too lazy to find a ladder tall enough to reach the plug on the ceiling and unplug the opener to program the home link.

 

You don't need the plug. I'll forward you the directions. I didn't unplug mine.

 

Me niether. I've programed mine several times and have never had to unplug the opener. You do need the ladder to hit the program button on the opener though.

 

Can anyone PM me with directions on how to program the Homelink. I want to set it up to open my garage, but I have NO manual for my car, therefor NO driections....
