I believe the time has come........
Well guys,
My CL has been great to me.....and god knows that I have sank ALOT of money into her. But I think that I will be putting her up for sale! Once I decide an asking price, I will post in the Black Market for anyone interested. To my calculations over the last 5 years, I have put around 16k into her (WOW....LOL). ANYONE WHO HAS SEEN MY CL IN PERSON KNOWS THE EXTREME AND DETAILED CARE THAT I GIVE HER, and hopefully her new owner will do the same. More to come once I decide my asking price.
Regards,
Topher

I wanted a G35 too until I drove one. Not much better and worse mpg.
Good luck with the sale. You really never get back what you put in to it. Take it to a meet with a for sale sign on it. Might get lucky.

^ Not quite NBP.....I had the paint shop mix in "Dominant" Blue Pearl in the paint process. It is alot more blue in the sun then NBP due to the dominant pearl. And besides the color, the job did still cost me $4954.13, I have the reciept form the body/paint shop still.

Very nice looking ride.Do you have a close up of your paint.I like some nice paint jobs.5 seems a little high.I used all ppg global products with ppg viberance flakes was done once, and let it dry for 30days and hit with a second coat of flakes and glamor coat clear, shaved the trunk and had 2 spoliers glassed together for 3900.

Yeah I believe you on the cost...
I was out pricing paint jobs and it seems that they can very wildly.

I too was looking at infiniti g35 coupe. Untill I stumbled upon a 05 caddy cts v. I'm determined my next car is gonna be something fast, then can be easily made even faster with a small amount of $$.
But good luck with the sale! Keep us updated!

Damn Topher! Don't go!
I really love your CL.
But actually one of my best friends has had a G35 since it first came out. Its done up too with staggered 20"s, dropped on Tein's, engine mods etc. It is fun to drive and turns heads like crazy. Plus you can't go wrong with RWD if you like driving sports coupes.
Anyway good luck, and I think you owe us one more photoshoot before you sell your CL.

Yea, i fully understand about not getting back what i paid for it and the money i put into it. I told a person that wanted a few parts that if i posted it, and didnt get what i wanted for it......that i would just keep it and park her in the garage. And for the comment on the cost of the paint, 350 of the cost was to remove any and all dents, imperfections, etc. In the body. But keep a look out in the bm for her. Kinda hopeing that no one will take the offer i post, lol

Topher I was not trying to say I did not beleive you about the cost of your paint job.It just seemed a little high.Maybe I think its a litte high because the guy that did mine got his suplies from the paint store where I worked,I probally got a great deal.Either way good luck with your sale. The only way we could keep any value of our cars is not to mod it and barely even drive it.But who want to do that?Nobody. For a example the guys that like droping there cars on $1000+ teins might aswell say they cost 2000.cuz as soon as there installed you probally devalued your car $1000 in the selling market.I would like to see 7500 when my car is payed off next year, but by next year it will be worth like 5000 and I think I'll hold on to it till it rots to the ground or pass it to a family member that will have passion for it.

Yep....gonna be a coupe. Looking for one that has the Brembo brakes and Navi. Going to get a white one, becasue having a dark car for the last 6 years, has been great but pain-staking!
