Just jokin on beatin him that bad, I did play alittle with him drivn up the road but its really my girlfriends best friends boyfriends car. VEry small inside and even smaller than the BMW323-330, I wouldnt have been happy with it, so it made me so much happier to see my baby next to it and know how much better it is.

listen here guys, i truly like the CL-S and i think it's a good price for the money. but that does not mean you guys should bash on other cars as if your car is "the SH*T", because it is not. CL-S owners keep bragging about their kill against an IS300, considering you have about 45hp advantage, you should. but dont get big headed about it. the CL-S's potential as a drag car or a track car will never be as well rated as the IS300 carrying the 2jzge motor. first of all because of the IS300's braking power, handling, and its RWD advantage. i don't really buy my car because i think it's a good deal, i buy it because i like the car. and if you're so much into speed, why didnt you buy a camaro SS for the same price, which runs the 1/4 at about 13.4 enjoy your car.

I seem to to remember that when motor trend named the BMW 5 series car of the year, that they quoted the 528i as a sub-7sec car (the 97 stick was 6.8 and the auto was 7.5). Don't underestemate a 5 series, it is only 176lbs heavier that a 3 (330i vs 530i). BMW quotes the 530 at 6.8 to 60 and the 330 at 6.4; we know that the 330 is faster than BMW quotes (e.g. 6.1-.2 to 60). 176lbs is not that big of difference. I also checked, the gear ratios are identical. Per BMW's figures, which are known to be higher than actual, the Auto 530i is also rated at about what the real figures of the IS to 60, about 7.5; those figures are HIGH the 530i auto is faster than the IS. Please don't embarass yourself trying to race a 530 or 528. Hell, the IS was spanked by a stripper 325i. I actually kind of like the IS, but it need to change the gauges and finally get the manual.

Lexus_IS300 has a good point, I was once guilty of bashing the IS for a long time til I drove one. The car is not that bad, it handles great and the breaking is awesome. Watch out guys, Toyota is talking about modding the IS300.

I thought CL-Power had NOS, shit he should be able to beat an IS300. Hell, he should be able to beat the TypeS as well.
