I got my car back last thursday after a month for repair from being hit by some chick who couldn't drive. I was on vacation so my dad put it in his garage till i got back yesterday. I bring it out today and i come to work. I just went outside and noticed the back bumper on the pass. side is scratched lightly. I am soo pissed. Its not a real bad scratch but there is a series of small scratches. Is there a rubbing compound i can use to get them out? They are light scratches, whats the best thing for it? Its just the point, ive had it a damn day and already its scratched. On top of that the eagles lost i shoulda stayed in florida.

 

Well work the 3M magic. Start with the least abrasive, SMR and work up.

Finesse It II
Perfect It II

Once you find the one that removes the scratches, work backwards to eliminate fine scratches caused by the previous abrasive

So if you get to Perfect It II and it takes out your scratches, apply another coat of FI II then a coat of SMR.

 

Sorry about your scratches, but not about the Eagles.. YMMV

TAKE it back to the bodyshop. I had my 2 months old car hit from the back, and when I had scratches when they returned it to me, I made them buff it out
