I am interested in a CLS-6 rear mainfold header.

I am interested in a CLS-6 rear mainfold header.
For those CL-S 6-speed with Comptech Headers:
I am interested in your STOCK CLS-6 rear mainfold header. In order to fabricate a Stone Racing rear header for the CLS-6, I need to borrow the stock CLS-6 rear mainfold header for a while.
We will cover the shipping costs, and you will get your headers once the prototype is done.
Please, help us get you an affordable CLS-6 headers.

Allmotor.
Are you sure, so why the Comptech headers have the extra bend in the left most pipe to clear the extra engine mount? is it the case that only the Comptech headers design needs this bend to clear the engine mount?
Thanks.

The bend is required because the runner for cylinder #2 (I hope my counting is correct) is longer in the Comptech design. The stock manifold is like a log-design... so there shouldn't be any reason to have a bend in the manifold. The longer runner hits the rear motor-mount on the 6-speed. The stock one doesn't come close to the motor-mount.
Check the part #'s from Acura.... its the same I think. Plus its $86 bucks per manifold to buy a new one!

Andy,
I am trying to work with those guys "stoners" to get a better product. Maybe this time they can get it righ and bettert!!
None are left in stock now, and it would be the right time to improve on the next batch.
Allmotor, thanks for the info. I guess the only way is to get hold of the rear headers from CLS-6 Comptech set.

From what I heard (2nd or 3rd hand) the AV6 people were okay with the headers. Is that because they are afraid to complain or there was too much of a mix of good and bad headers. Sounds like a mesurement is off...yours wasn't that bad even if Gary wanted blood to fix it....

You can use mine. I just got my CT headers, so I don't mind letting you use my stock ones. Send me a PM with more info or hit me up on AIM: Dsplambdax321. Talk to you later hommie.
