I am looking at buying 03 Acura CL Type S. I am in Tx and the car for sale has 40,000 miles and asking price is $14,950. What do you guys think of the price?

What do you guys think of CLs reliability? any known issues with the car? anything I should be looking for when taking the car for a test drive?


Also if you have any additional comments I appreciate it.

From my research I have heard many good things, but wanted to get the opinion of real owners and everyday drivers.

6 speed or auto? make sure the rotors aren't warped, check for rattles.

the price is AWESOME if its a 6speed and in good condition...but that price tells me slushbox with some minor issues but it could just be someone lookin to unload the car quick..if its not a 6speed i wouldnt do it, thats just me tho

Its an Automatic.

I have been reading about Transmission issues on CL...my question is it for all three years (01-03) or is it just 01 and 02?

Also just to be clear, if there is a transmission issue it is covered for upto 100K by the dealership?
