humidity
not in the cl-s but in my old mustang it made a huge difference. don't know if it was heat or humidity, or a combination of both. when it was cold and dry the thing ran much quicker and more smoothly.

Temperature, humidity, altitude affect all internal combusion engines

no it effects every motor out there. No one is exempt
I could really tell the difference between the hot humid air and cooler air when I started going to the gym at 5 in the morning. The drive there was great, b4 the sun came up, and b4 it got hot out my car felt great. Later in the day it was a dog.
My car went from spinning like mad hitting second on tires with good tread to not really spinning at all on them with low tread...Just saps the shi+ out of this car more than any other I've owned. I don't know why, just seems to be exceptionally sluggish in the heat as compared to a nice 55 degreem low humidity day...
it does afect all cars just in how a combustion engine works...but where some are effected more than others is in the ECU...it's not enough that the water in the atmosphere is displacing oxygen causing a decrese in power but ...the heat soak that comes from our hot run heads cause the ecu to pull timing and adjust the fuel curve to prevent the inevitable knock that would otherwise occur...a double whamee
