HR Sport Alignment

i installed some HR sports this weekend, and of course went to get an alignment. The guys at the shop took some measurements and told me that everything was fine. Everything i've read says that i need an alignment done afterwards, but according to that shop, proper tire rotation is all i needed. i'm pretty skeptical that they are right. does this sound right to you guys? they said i was within spec on everything...before i could get a printout, they took my car off the machine but i talked to the tech, and he said that i was fine?

BS, an alignment must be done if you mess with the shocks, springs, or steering related item.

did you guys put your h&r springs on your stock shocks? I have 40k on mine and I kind of want to ride on my stock shocks for a year or so before I get new struts you think the struts will last?
