How's the Stock CL-S Muffler??

Hello there

I don't own a CL (just got a TL-S though) and I have a 95 accord coupe.

My question is, I was considering getting 2 CL-S Mufflers and running 2inch pipes..but I wanted to know How good are the CL stock mufflers off a type S? <--This would be on my accord.

Would you say
Better than aftermarket mufflers??
Should I not even waste money trying to get these mufflers?
Damn the Tips look nice thoughh...

Any feedback would help, also what is the diameter of the pipe size going into the exhaust?

Thanks Everyone..

They are suppose to be better than the CL-P that has 225 HP so they are better than Accord's

Considering the Comptech Exhaust only adds about 2-3 hp over stock on a CL-S, I would say the stocks are pretty good.

yah stocks are pretty good..in fact that is the best stock muffler i think...good exterior design.oval shape and nice sound too...more torque at low rpm and vtec power plus high flow at high rpm..i will want to keep my stock muffler if in the future i add a header to my cls..

Whoa....Comptech ones only add 2-3..that's insane!!..you'd expect larger gains..must be something is good about that CL-S exhaust.

Yep, the stock exhaust from the cat back isn't really a bottleneck. The stock exhaust manifold is a different story.
