Hey guys and gals. First off, I want to wish everyone on this forum a happy Thanksgiving.
Ok. My question is what's a good way to repair a rock chip on the front window? A nickel size rock coming off a dump truck hit my front glass going about 65mph. It didn't crack or spider the window, however it did take off some glass and it left a tiny tiny tiny pot mark. Thanks.

Up here in MA where glass has no deductable on insurance, I just get the windsheild replaced.
For other states, there are glass places that can do a repair on the glass so that the chip doesn't turn into a crack. It's like a dent doctor for glass. Look in the yellow pages under auto glass.

It it didn't spider out, you should be able to have it resin filled. Doing this doesn't completely take away the visual aspect of the chip, although it does help. A resin filling will prevent the chip from obviously spreading.
Of course, you can always get a new windshield.
