How would they dyno a 4WD?

How would a shop dyno a 4WD car do all 4 tyres go on 2 independent rollers? Or would they uncouple either the front wheels or rear and test them independently?

Tnx

there are only 2 awd dynos in north america as far as I know...one in Florida, and I think there's one in Cali...
the only other way, is to disconnect the front driveshafts and use a conventional dyno...

THere are 4wheel dyno's available. Usually, it's a prosche/audi/vw tuner that has them. A place around my house has one.

i am pretty sure there is a 4 wheel dyno

but on a other note I think motortrend was trying to dyno a e43 m3 and found that the car's computer wouldn't let the engine rev past like 3000 rpm or something unless the front wheels were moving.

Thanks for askin, the Prila has 4400 miles on it, (thats from when i quit being a post whore) we had such good weather in the NE (other than hot - but i didn't mind it) so i made good use of the bike, got some carbon parts for her, and planning on switching exhaust, i have the rsv race pipe, but i want to get an Akrapovic soon, and finish off the carbon,

What have you been up to? - what bike are you riding now?

i had to come back and make some wallpapers - i totaly forgot about august

i probably would linger around the board more, but at work they have me working 6 days every other week, 5 in the normal weeks, so with working and riding, i barely touched my computer

but work is starting to ease up a bit, and the weather seems to be taking a turn for the worst, so i'll be back to the board alot more in the near future

Astro, post some pics of your bike

also, what do you think of the akropovic duel system, debating of getting the full 2-into 1 or the 2-into 2 sytems over the winter
