How to take all the plastic trims off? Jens?

I want to take these off and possibly paint them if its not too difficult. Any help on how? Jens? I'm looking to take them all off, the ones in the backseats and doors etc. The more details the better since I'm the least mechanically inclined person here. Thanks in advance for anyones time.

I have heard you have to use a hair dryer to heat it up and they will peel off. All though don't hold me to it.

I think the 3.5L conversion guys (syncivic?) were talking about doing this on one of their cars and they said that the plastic trim was attached to the door pannels via "plastic rivets" so to remove the trim you have to take the door pannels off, break the plastic rivets from the back end or melt them off. Then you can remove the trim. Of course when you put the trim back on you need to find a new way to make it stay in place. They said it was basicly a big pain in the ass.

Removing the door panels is a straight forward enough process but there are no provision to actually remove the "wood" panels from the doors themselves so you will have to be inventive here on a workable solution.Jens
