If 45 is old, what is 56!!?! Just bought my 2002 CL-S and joined the 'club'. What is with all of the transmission problems? Should I be concerned with the 2002?

if you people all gave the DAY MONTH AN YEAR that you were born in the original "how old are you " threads...then the people that want to know how old you are NOW ( as oppose to the last time this question was asked) ..they could just use that thread, and do the math.

Jeesh.. I'm pretty surprised at how young some of you guys are!! Hey, don't get me wrong but when I was 18 I was driving around in a 92 Nissan Sentra. Just out of curiousity, some of you guys that are 17 to 19 years old how are you guys able to afford the car??? I remember when I was 18 I had a chance to get a 92 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST and my parents were going to help me pay for the car. That is, until they found out how much the insurance was going to cost and the stupid salesman told my father that the car is easy to get ripped off..

Well, Joe, Im 16 and to answer you're question, I couldn't afford this car, I stole it hehe. Actually, daddy bought it for me. Trust me, if I could afford this car, I certainly would not be living at home. Prolly a condo in the south.

I'm twenty, and it is a pain in the ass to pay for this car. I pay like 725 a month for the car and insurance. It's a lot of work but everytime I drive my car its worth it. I also go to college full time. I went from a 92 sable wagon to a 98 Infiniti QX4 to this. I'm consider myself pretty lucky but I work my ass off.

TypeSAddict, Hehehehe, I don't mind the girl at all!! If your parents are willing to help then more power to you.. I moved up from the 92 Sentra to a 97 Acura CL 3.0 and now to 01 CLS with Navi.. I think most of you guys on here are going to scoff but my next car isn't going to be a car at all.. I'm looking at the new BMW X5, the Lexus Gx470, or the Infiniti QX4. I've enjoyed Acura but I think it's time for me to see what other brands have to offer..

Well i have had an 89 Legend for the first year that i have driven (well it will be a year in 3 months), which trust me is not a bad first car, this thing is great and will last another 10 years. I am paying in full for my CL-S when i get it, though i got the money via death in family, i am only planing on using my inheritence on this, and the rest will be put away for safe keeping as per my mother, so i WILL be working to pay the insurence, which is going to be a mofo to pay off, but i am well awair of the working i will have to do to pay for it, but i think its worth it.
