How often do you use your tape player?
Sing of the times:
We have a double din dash player with an awesome Cd changer a tape player. I noticed that a lot of cars these days dont even put a tape player in anymore, just the CD. And I tried to remember the last time I used tape in this car. I dont think ever, or maybe once or twice during over a year of ownership.
How many times have you guys used the tape player and you think it will be kept in this car in the future models, I personally like the doule din.

The only reason a tape player would be useful anymore is for bootlegs.
With the advent of CD burning & MP3's that is a rare neccesity as well.
I used it in my TL once in awhile, then maybe once or twice in my last CLS, now in my current CLS ive never used it :\
The only reason I ever used it in the first place is because most of my friends are dirt poor college kids with bootlegged tapes

That's how I listen to my top secret missions...
Your mission, should you decide to accept it ...... As always, should you or any member of your I.M. Force be caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This tape will self destruct in five seconds...(I hate that part)

Damn guys. I use mine quite often, guess I am the only one so far.
I have some Punk mixes that I made while in college that I listen to almost everyday, atleast at some point in the day.
Actually the only reason I have them is b/c in my last car, my car from college, I didn't have a CD player in there, only a tape player, thus I have a few tapes.

yeah the CD track shuffle button acts as a Fast Forward that seeks the end of the song and stops just in time to play the next song in its entirety...just like in my '89 Accord
technology sure has come a long way!!

I've been using mine a lot recently, actually. I have various tapes that I made from here and there.
I'm a big fan of making audio-tape letters, and I don't know if I'd ever do those on CDs. It's much easier to just sit and record in front of a tape recorder and you're done. One BIG plus for tapes is that you can stop and go anywhere you please.

Never used it. I have tapes, but they take up too much room compared to CD's. And I'm all out of room in the center console for my CD's too. Where do I put more CD's? Any ideas?
