How much for T1-S's?

Through a buddy of mine, I can get a hold of Toyo T1-Ss balanced and mounted for $150 a piece. How does this compare to what some of you have paid? If anyone in the Chicagoland area wants in on a set for themselves, PM me.

How can he get them? Cost is about $135. My old neighbor hooked me up at Tire Kingdom at $135 a piece. He mounted and balanced them for free. See if he can get them cheaper

AcuraCl1, $235 for your size.

O-town_TypeS, a friend of a friend owns a tire shop.

cost of ts-1 are about $30-40 more on the same size as fz4 toyos. i recently bought my 235/35/19 toyo proxes fz4 for $147 each. the ts-1 were under $200 each for the same size. (dealer/wholesale cost)

285 is a ripoff.
tire markup is about 20%.

i would hookup everybody on the site, but i really dont feel like shiiping tires in hugh boxes.

if you all need real costs to compare shit when buying local, let me know.

I paid about $700 for the complete install (tax, balance, etc). The price included lifetime balance and rotate, but the dealer is such a turd, I'll never deal with him again (ordering a couple of center caps for my SSR wheels was "too much trouble.") 'nuf said

The $150 a tire price in a 235/45-17 is good. Even better if the price is for 18s or 19s (make sure they are new and didn't come off some Speed Channel Touring racer's car!

I got the 235-45-17's for about $160 mounted & balanced on sale, so $150 is a deal, but not much.
