Just curious.

I got a quote from the salesman I got my car from: $30,330 +tax/tags. Invoice is $29,052. I would think it should be more around $29,400.

Maybe I should have phrased this question differently.

Usually a hundred people respond with stuff like "dude that's way too much, my salesman/dealer will give you $200 over invoice" or something similar. I need some responses so I know what I should tell my dad to offer for one if he decides on getting a TLS. No way he should be paying $1300 over invoice though. For sure.

I think that 500 over invoice is a fair price on any car. Invoice is better tho'

I think that since the TLS is such a good seller for Acura (52,000 so far this year) that it might be harder to get a great price on a TL then it would be to get a great price on a CLS (10,700 YTD).

Another thing to think about is that the TLS is due for a redesign, so waiting for next years TLS might be a better value (even if the price is higher then this years model).

I'm sure that if you said that you were going to buy a Toyota Corolla S or a Acura TLS (but weren't sure what one was better) you would of gotten alot more responses
