i have 03 auto black on black with spoiler non navi, about 13000 miles, how much could i sell the car for, i want to sell the car before it depreciates even more, looking to get a used gs300 which is about 27k or 26k, thanks

 

by the way, the reason i want to switch is because i thought it would be a good investment, because the gs300 would not depreciate as much as the cl, any one give me ideas if this is correct

Check Edmunds.com. All cars depreciate. I don't think the CL-S is worse than a lot of other cars. The first year is the killer. Probably 20% driving off the lot. After that it's more like 2-3000 a year. The more expensive the car the worse the depreciation in real dollars unless an exotic.The CL does well in the Edmunds real cost to own category. Cars are depreciating assets.

 

Cars are not investments. Most cars are worth much less then what you buy them for. Get a different car because you want it. If you traded it I'd say $20K-$22K is all you'd get. If you sold it I'd say $22K-$24K. New cars just like yours are going for about $27K or less by me.

remember the remodeled GS is almost ready and then the GS will be depreciating.
