despite what you see in my sig, the type s should OWN a type p all day long! I'm really beginning to think that the only reason I got those times for my tlp was because of the cold tempratures that day. If I had a type s that day, it should have run a 14.7 with ease!

very interesting, anybody else have any info? Funny what a difference the factory engineers can produce between the same 3.2 liter engines... night and day.

I have raced a lot of CL-S's and sometimes I win and sometimes lose. Since i have headers and intake, a stock cls and myself come mostly neck and neck but the cls usual takes it because of the longer vtec. In addition, mostly the largest reason is the driver. I am very aggressive and can do a lot with my car to win a race

Well, i have a CLP, my friend has a stock auto CLS....

I dynoed at 197hp at the wheel.... he dynoed at 187hp at the wheel, and thats the very top end, which he gained back... at in the mid rpm, i gain as much as 14hps on him.... with exhaust, i might be pick up 3-5 more hp, and touching 200... and thats VERY good for CLP, since Accord with EVERYTHING only have 171hp at the wheel...

We raced, we both launch good, we side by side in first gear, but second, i always pull out and won by a car length.... If i launched sucked, he will lead in 1st, but in 2nd, i can pull from behind, and still managed to pass him.....

BUT, dont be too happy yet, cuz thats a stock CLS... if he put all the bolt-ons, especially headers, this will never be happening, ESPECIALLY on freeway, TypeS REALLY shines on freeway with mods.... and plus, typeS with full bolt-ons, the gain is more than full bolt-ons CLP!

i ran 14.7 in humid hot summer houston night, WITHOUT header with 100% humidity..... now i have header, wonder wats the diff will be!

If he only dynoed 187 at the wheel...something is wrong with his car.

did he have his tranny replaced lately? Nice run by the way, Bigman has a TP-P with intake and Headers, his car is substantially quicker too.

his friend is probably trying to save every penny he could on the gas... he is probably putting in regular unlead instead of premium...
