I did my Mustang floor from firewall to trunk and I didnt use the entire 100 sq feet.

Also, I used FatMat and it seemed to work very well as long as you heat it up with a hair dryer. Its a ton less expensive than DynaMat too.

If you just press it in place, it just bends the material. If you heat it some, it'll conform to the shape.

I wouldn't cover the whole rear deck.

Installing Dynamat is easy, just peel, heat, and stick. The hard part is getting to some of the places you want to install it at.

If u get dynomatt get the extreme version....much better cause the orig is shit. Start off w/ 20-30 square feet and after u install it go over it w/ a hairdryer and press into it as u heat it to form the shape pefect. Also u don't have to do the WHOLE trunk...just the areas that the bass will be reflecting off of and the parts that are vibrating. I did my whole trunk and i used like 25 feet....and I did EVERYTHING...FUNNY THING WAS IT DIDN'T HELP OUT THE RATTLING...I have a spoiler and that was making the most noise so I hads to insulate the spoiler wires inside the spoiler itslef and that helped out a little. The dynomatt did increase the sound quality of the Bass and it sounded crisper. Good luck!!

yep...start w/ 20 and see how it goes....or buy a little more and return whats not used. Also...apply a little and then try the stereo and see what it did...keep doing this until u are satisfied.

hey, you think if I dynomat my car all over the interior, the rattles and sqeaks from the chasis will be reduced much? my main goal is to make my car sound as qiet as possible when it comes to bumps and stuff, it just sounds like the car is jiggling after every bump in the road. Maybe Brown bed? and I don't care for weight much, so from a sound insulating the interior from the exterior point of view?

if you got the funds use the dynamat extreme. Its the dynamat with the chrome outer layer(aluminum I think).

Anyway it kicks ass and the trunk is where most of the rattles emenate from. You will notice a increase in clarity of the bass. I highly reccomend you dynamat the crap out of the trunk lid since that is where most of the rattles from outside come from.
When I did my accord I was paranoid about people hearing my bass and jacking my system(it happened before) so I used almost a whole roll on the trunk lid. LOL the trunk would hardly open with the trunk popper after that but it was totally worth it.

I did my Mustang with FatMat to help reduce exhaust drone, suspension squeaks, and overall road noise. I cant speak for decibels, but it is definitely quieter. Here's a couple pics of how much I did.
