How much does a side mirror cost?
Some drunk idiot decided to take a swing at my car while I was driving down a side street and connected. My mirror is still attached but only by the wires.
Can it be fixed?
If not, how much do they usually run?
Thanks

Looks like about $188 for the side mirror.

Does anyone know if the actual block mirror can be separated from the part that is connected to the window? My actual mirror and housing is fine, but the triangular piece that is connected to the car is what's cracked.
Also, how hard is it to install? Anyone know if the wire harness is just plug n play?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that if you take off the triangular panel where the tweater is, you should see the 3 nuts holding on the mirror and the wiring harness in the middle. You pull that out and the 3 nuts and and squeeze the connector and the mirror pops right out.
Thats at least how it was on my first gen. I didnt have a need to rip apart my door panel yet on this one. (knock on wood)

You'll see here that the red arrow shows the part connected to the car. That is what I need replaced.
The blue is the actual block mirror that is not affected.
The green is where the crack actually is.
Can the red piece just be replaced?
