Any place will probably charge 2-3 hours of labor......probably about $200 I'm guessing. I don't think its that hard to do.....but if you are willing to pay, have someone else do and you don't have to worry about it!

Usually 3 hours at the current garage labor rate.

It's not too hard... 3 hours is the going-rate. Figure $65/hr. The dealer will charge for new exhaust-manifold gaskets... if the car is pretty new, don't worry about changing those.

The problems occur when the header doesn't quite fit right!! The auto-tranny cars have that cross-member underneath... so more stuff to remove. The OBX doesn't fit a 6spd.

The dealer told me $475. I just wanted a quote. I will make every attempt to due it myself. I read the directions from comptech, and it says to remove the cross beam to make it easier. If you or mechanically inclined, it should not be much of a problem.

I paid $200 to get them installed by my dealer. The good thing about that is my O2 sensor just went out a week ago and they replaced it for free under warranty since I had them installed there.

I paid $100 plus $3 VISA fee... it took exactly 2hrs + 1 hrs dyno time... I started around 11:00 and finished by 1:30 PM...

no problem in the installation and no need to remove anything mechanical down there, only the plastic splash guard..

It makes a little bit of a difference with a hoist vs. laying on la' derriere!

OBX sends the 2 manifold gasketsat, what other gaskets will I need. Any recommended place to get them? I have heard that you can reuse some. I have about 12k on my car. Also, how hard was it to get a torque wrench in there? Do you need a small one. I work at a chemical plant I will be able to borrow one, I just want to make sure I get the right size, lenght and width. Does any one know the torque spec, if any, for the O2 sensor?

you can reuse the O-rings they are metalic or you can buy new ones from the dealer.
There are 3 rings 2 for downpipes and 1 for Catalic converter... We were able to unplug the 2 rings for downpipe...but we installed a new ring for the Catalic Cooverter .... We used a kind of exhaust grease to keep that ring in place....
