What's the deal? How do you do it (I'm pretty sure I've done it on some previous cars I owned...but..) How do you do it w/ the Type S engine, how hard to you rev before you release, and what kinds of performance "boosts" does it give you?

I did it a couple times but stoped after hearing fro people that it actually hurts the torque converter.

well to do it simply hold the brake down rev the engine to about 3500 since that's were all the torque is , and then once the light turns green slam on the gas and let go of the brake, you'll get an awesome launch!
Did this when racing AC's 540 and we were neck and neck to about 80.
He had trac on and its an auto and I just had springs at the time.
