FAQ:
What are the measurements for the stock rims/tires?
The stock tire are 215/50/17 i.e.:
Section Width: 215 Tire aspect ratio: 50 Rim size: 17
Bolt pattern: 114.3x5 (4.5" cross lugs) Weight: 52 pounds. Rim is 26.5 pounds and tire is 26 pounds. Offset: +55 (+42 or higher will probably work) Load rating: 93 Size: 17 x 7

Is that considered heavy? How much do you have to pay on after market rims to get a lighter one?

yes, it's considered heavy...most racing wheels i've seen range from 18 - 21 pounds each

i thought the stock rims weighed about 26 pounds, so it adds up when u multiply the difference by 4

prices vary depending on what u want...u can do just wheels, or u can do wheel & tire combo's...best thing to do is go to their websites and price out individually...so go to ASA, At Italia, SSR, Volk, etc. and compare prices...if yer looking for wheel & tire combo's, do the same with the tires...then with all those prices in mind, check out yer local performance shops and see how their prices compare and if there r any specials goin on...consult TireRack, Tires.com, and VictoriaTire.com for specials on tires as well as wheel & tire combo's
