How much discrepancy w/the Gtech Pro?

For those of you who take your cars to the drag strip and also have a Gtech Pro, what is the usual discrepancy between your 1/4 mile times as measured on the drag strip minus reaction time versus the figures from the Gtech Pro?

Since no one responded, I'll try....

Here's the numbers from the website. From what I've read, "real world" figures are close to this....

I would say, when used properly, it's pretty accurate except for the 1/4 mi trap speed. It's usually high by 4-5 mph, I think.

One member took his to the track and the results were all over the place. A couple runs were right on the money, but most of them were WAY WAY WAY off. I mean... scary off... like by a full second or something ridiculous. That thread is still probably hanging around on the CL Forum of acura-tl.com if you wanna look for it.

Other people report that the thing is pretty accurate, so I dunno. The only consensus anyone can ever come to about a GTech is that it is very reproducible and a great tool for judging how much you get from a mod.
