How much $ at David McDavid for Comp. Spgs install?

Thinking (seriously) 'bout getting the springs from Tim. Now, they are $300 bucks..how much am I going to be hit for having them installed at David McDavid (that's the one in Dallas right?) I'm in Tulsa, but they dealership won't install them, and I'd rather have an Acura place put them in.

Any help fellas (and ladies).

Total fucking rip-off! I was quoted $418 for the install and $98 for the four-wheel alignment. No way was I going to pay $1000+ to install/remove springs on a two-year lease.

Got mine installed at John Eagle in Houston...They give you 10 percent off the springs from the price shown on Comptech website and charge $300 for complete installation...

That sounds about right. I'm trying to get the parts, labor, and alignment for $900 ($1000 tops). It can be done if you're a good shopper.

I would pay $635 for comptech Sways and Springs $300 for installation and $65 for alignment, total $1000. No more, no less. Anything more than that is too much, IMHO.

I asked them again on Thursday while I was there getting my 12K oil changes. And their quote had come down from the previous quote I had received. The were going to charge $416 for install and $96 for alignment. This is down from the previous quote of $635 for both install and alignment.

This is still high to me...but I may suck it up and get it done anyway early this summer.

Hope this gives you some idea Smoothie!!! Good luck!

Veng: Yeah, it does. I'm going with the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. It's not that I don't like the Comptech quality, but I don't want that raked look. I want the car level but with much less tire well gap.
