I live near public housing and nobody's ever broken into my car. You have insurance but you also have your time, money, and anger at having your car broken into. That counts for something, too. I like my Pioneer... :-) I might install a double DIN then have my old Pioneer made into an empty face to put over that but it seems like a lot of trouble.
