bought my 02' on Sept. of 01' and traded it in March of 03' for a 6 spd. it had 22K on it.

had my 6spd. from March of 03' till Sept. of 03' and it had 10,000 K on it.

so you can say I drove the cl-s for only 29K miles cause my 6spd. was used and had 3k on it already.

Bought my Red '01 CLS in March 2000. It had 31,000 miles on her when I traded it for an Blue '03 6 speed in November 2002. Lovin every mile in the 6 speed. As bland as people claim our cars are, I still get lots of looks. Probably because they are pretty rare. . Only 7800 miles on this one.

The wife is doing great. My original tranny died at 61K. The second lasted a little more than half as long. It died at 95K. We will just see how long number three lasts. If this one dies, it's good by Acura. There is not much out there that I am interested in that is "reasonably priced". That is 30K to 35K range. What's up with you these days?

Hey, I’m an “old timer” with a somewhat newbie car.
But I have been around long enough to remember some of you guys from 260hp.com AND even way back to honda-acura.net

I just checked and there’s certainly not much going on there now.
Page TWO of the CL/TL section takes you all the way back to JUNE posts.

Bought May 27, 2000 (after returning 1997 CPO BMW 540 under CA lemon law) ... got 68,000 miles on it. 2nd tranny installed at 45,000, brakes redone at 48,000. Great car for the money. Sure makes those hour+ commutes easier (except for the jackasses jabbering on their damn cell phones in the fast lane doing 5 mph UNDER the speed limit). At least I got enough umphh to get around them ...
