when i'm playing my ps2 i have to have the ignition on. i don't want to play and not have my car start up. the engine can be running as well but i heard it's bad if you let the car idle for more than 5 minutes. can anyone shed light on this? i'm just thinking about buying a optimum yellow top battery.

 

Letting your car idle more than 5 minutes in Park is bad? News to me. I've idled for up to 25 minutes once or twice.

 

maybe not 20-25 mins but aleast 5 mins for warming the car during winter, and sometimes i sit around and listen to the music while waiting for someone in parked during cold/rain days. Those waits can range from 10-15 mins.

 

The battery will last until it dies!!!!!!!!
