How long do I have to wait?

How long do I have to wait?
Before I wax my car? Somepeople say 6 months to let the paint cure others say 3 months. Also the dealer said that every 6 months when I take the car in they will add another layer of paint sealant. I think they said this goes on 4 times in the first 2 years. anyone know about this should I wait to wax until 6 months after the last sealant?

i say wait 3 months after you buy it then what i do is i put a coat of wax on a panel every week....so it's a rotating cycle
