when i replaced my bulbs i did take the bumper off, its not nearly as hard as it appears, i actually pulled out my whole headlight, and then had to fuss with that black cover, ti has a security t20 screw in it, i doubt you have the bit, if you want more detailed instructions i can send them

There is absolutely no need to take off the bumper. I just replaced my HID bulbs with ultinon 6000K and hella halogen high beams today.
1. remove the black plastic covering.
(for easier access)
2a. On passenger side, unscrew and remove washerfluid container.
2b. on driver side, remove battery, and the 2 covers near the air filter.
3. remove HID housing
4. remove HID bulb (turn and release clip)
5. for high beam bulb, there are 2 side screws you only have to loosen and the bulb comes right out
these are very basic instructions, if you'd like more detail, PM me.

You don't have to take all that stuff out to change the bulbs, lol. If you want a no fuss install, you can take the bumper off and removed the housings, but thats a lot of work. If you have some patience and your hands aren't too big you can change them without removing much. Deff take off the black plastic shroud that covers the radiator, and then move the top of the washer fluid resevoir, then the stock air box (if you don't have a cai). But after that it should be cake. You'll need the torque bit and some patience to get 'em out.
