the front piece with the A symbol in it. im talking about just the black piece, i would leave the chrome. i have a can of SSM paint that matches exactly the color, but do you think that i could paint this and it look ok?

 

it's pretty easy to do it yourself. just unbolt it from the backside and have at it.

i had mine painted to match when i had the hood repainted. i think it looks pretty good. my car is black so ymmv.

a body shop did mine. i'm sure you can do a pretty good job yourself if you don't rush and prep well. i think prep is the most important step. there are resources on the web regarding painting. good luck and have fun.

 

Took mine out and had the body shop paint it. EASY.

 

For the prep all ya gotta go is scuff whatever it is you are going to paint with a scotchbrite red scuff pad. Scuff it good or it won't last.

 

how u think a taffy white would look with a painted white emblem
